This page details the Carols events being held in various workplaces around Derbyshire in 2011. It is first created 9th November 2011, and will be updated as information comes in.

 

1st notifications of workplace carols events!

Following our appeal in last week's email update [Do you receive our email updates? Would you like to? Mail to: imd002@googlemail.com] the first notifications have arrived of chaplaincy Carols events in the run-up to Christmas.

At this stage, we ask for prayers for those involved in planning and preparing, and for other workplaces where events are under consideration.

There are known (to WCD office) so far, to be 4 events involving 2 different chaplaincies (all dates are in December 2011):

Agricultural chaplain Graham has added some information about the 3 events in which he is involved:

Carols for farmers and their families:
a. Sunday 4th December, 2.30pm in the auction ring at Bakewell livestock market. Hosted by the High Peak Livestock Society and part of the Annual Christmas Fatstock Show
b. Friday 9th December, 7.45pm at Dale Road Methodist Church, Darley Dale. Hosted by the Agricultural Christian Fellowship
c. Sunday 18th December, 6.30pm at St Michaels & All Angels, Taddington. Hosted by the Framing Life Centre
